Pupil Chaplains 2024 - 2025
Our Pupil Chaplains for 2024-2025
Pupil Chaplains Commissioning
On Wednesday 20th September, we joyfully celebrated the commissioning of our Pupil Chaplains during a special prayer service. These students have dedicated themselves to serving their peers and our school community through faith, kindness, and leadership. We pray for their continued guidance and strength as they embark on this meaningful journey.
Little Way Week
Our Chaplaincy team is excited to kick off Little Way Week, inspired by the loving acts of St. Thérèse of Lisieux! Mrs. Ryan led a heartfelt meditation, encouraging our students to pray for God’s guidance this week as they embody St. Thérèse’s “Little Ways” of showing love. Additionally, our pupil chaplain team introduced the Kindness Tree, where teachers will recognise and celebrate acts of kindness throughout the week. Let’s spread love and kindness together!
Presentation to Board of Trustees
The children presented their action plan on how they plan to impact the Catholic life of our school to the Board of Trustees. Mrs. Ryan was very impressed with how clearly and confidently the pupil Chaplain team spoke.
Peace Conference
The pupil chaplains have begun their Young Ambassadors for Peace training with a one-day conference where the children learnt how to find peace within self. They also created an action plan where they outlined their initial plans on how they would implement the programme at school.
Young Ambassadors Programme
The Pupil Chaplaincy team warmly welcomed the organisers of the Young Ambassadors Programme to our school. They proudly shared their action plan and updated them on the progress they've made so far. It was a fantastic opportunity for our young leaders to showcase their hard work.
Rosary
On Wednesday 16th , our Pupil Chaplains led a beautiful Rosary service. Thank you to everyone who joined us in this meaningful prayer experience.
