Our House Saints
The house system at St George's exists to give the children a greater sense of belonging and an opportunity to take part in a healthy competition that involves the whole school. It also encourages loyalty and teaches children how to celebrate the achievements of others.
There are four houses and each takes its name from a Saint. Every child from Year 1 to Year 6 is assigned to a house, and they are encouraged to earn points for their respective houses through academic achievement, good behaviour, artistic achievement, musical achievement and sporting success.
Each child wears a house tie and has a house PE kit and each house votes for a Captain and Vice Captain to lead them for the year.
